As a second generation REALTOR®, I have seen the tremendous opportunities the real estate industry provides to us. From starting as an agent in my mother's firm in 1988, to managing over 80 agents in two offices today, I have also experienced the commitment organized real estate has made to helping us succeed in this profession. Whether it was good times or bad, the California Association of REALTORS® has played a significant role in helping us do business more efficiently and professionally.

For the past two decades, I've benefited from the services I received from NAR, C.A.R. and my local association. And for more than ten years, I have been committed to helping these associations to provide relevant products and services that help all REALTORS® be successful. With 11 years experience in Strategic Planning, Budget and Finance at my local association and as a member and 2008 Vice Chair of Strategic Planning at C.A.R. I know how to plan, finance and build a vision for the future.

The next few years present unprecedented challenges for our members. We need to give them the information, education and technology they need to successfully compete in the new real estate market. We need to partner with and to support our local associations because they are essential in delivering these products and services. And we need to leverage our political influence in Sacramento so we can pass legislation that preserves our ability to help our clients buy and sell homes in every community throughout California.

As the Chair of C.A.R.'s Strategic Planning and Finance Committee, the Treasurer will play a critical role in delivering these tools for success. I have the leadership experience in Strategic Planning and Finance to plan for the future. I have a history of listening to agents and understanding what they need. I believe every member should have the opportunity and tools to be successful in this business because every Member Counts. It's why I want to be your 2010 Treasurer and why I am the right candidate at the right time.
