It has been my pleasure to get to know and work with Don in the arena of organized real estate. Don is not only a personal friend, but someone I have tremendous respect for on a professional front. He has worked hard to quickly understand CAR, it's member needs, infastructure and areas of opportunity as well as weakness. Don has been Vice President and Manager of our Pleasanton and Livermore Valley offices for over five years. I have known Don for long enough to know that he is suited for the Job of CAR Treasurer. Aside from his leadership ability, he has trained for the Treasurer position through his service on the Strategic Planning and Finance, culminating in his role as Vice-Chair of the Committee [The Treasurer is Chair]. With an annual budget of around $27 million, it is inappropriate for a member to seek the position of Treasurer without experience and training on the Committee..... Don has the experience and the temperament to be an excellent Treasurer.
